ITV's hit series The Masked Singer comes to an end tonight - with the identities of three remaining stars being revealed in the 2025 final.

After eight thrilling weeks, finalists Dressed Crab, Pufferfish and Wolf will perform for the final time tonight on ITV1, while panellists Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Maya Jama are given one last guess at the famous faces on stage.

However, many fans at home are convinced that they have already rumbled the real A-listers behind the masked musical star thanks to the many hints and clues shared to the panel throughout the series.

With not long to go before we found out which stars are behind the series six costumes, here are the top clues and theories around Wolf, Dressed Crab and Pufferfish.

Wolf

Wolf has proved that he's a top dog when it comes to his singing abilities, performing the likes of Let's Dance by David Bowie, Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish and Crowded House hit Don't Dream It's Over.

He's also dropped a number of clues about his identity, with his VT packages featuring colourful umbrellas, a book of bedtime stories, a map of Egypt, a spy glass and wool. Meanwhile, the star has referred to himself as a "lone wolf", reminiscing about having a long career with a group of people.

In one scene, a cameraman filming Wolf was shown to be wearing a mitre - the traditional headwear worn by bishops - which could hint at a connection to the church. Wolf also revealed that high school was wear he "sniffed out my pack" but was now "ready to go my own way". Other clues included a "wicked" reference, that Wolf knows how to "let their hair down and enjoy a boogie" and a set of multi-coloured Skittles.

As for theories, fans are convinced that it's Wet Wet Wet's Marti Pellow behind this singing star. One viewer wrote ahead of tonight's final: "I've said it's Marti Pellow since I heard the first few lines sung weeks ago. Never once been mentioned by the panel, then tonight when Maya said Angel Eyes I thought at last. Then she said ABBA, I give up."

Meanwhile, other guesses have included Location Location Location's Phil Spencer, Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon and even BAFTA Film Awards host David Tennant.

Pufferfish

This fashionable fish is taking to the Masked Singer stage tonight for her final performance and she's let slip a number of big hints throughout the competition. Pufferfish has teased that she loves having her picture taken, said that "The Empire State is just too hard to miss out on" and caught an American football in her VT.

She is also seen throwing a pair of dice that land on a five and six, and revealed that her talent "runs in the family", which could hint at her having famous relatives. Pufferfish revealed that she is not a "one-hit wonder", that she's "filled with glee" and has a five-year work diary. She also shared in one clue package: "It's a miracle I'm still here. The angel fish must be looking down on me."

There have also been references to the "Windy City" of Chicago, being a "pop princess", Coronation Street's Helen Worth and a toy mouse. As for fans' top theories, many viewers believe that it's West End star Samantha Barks behind the Pufferfish - although the theatre icon recently took to social media to deny that she's the sea-dwelling singer.

Other popular guesses have been Coronation Street's Jodie Prenger, reality star Nicole Richie and US actress Hayden Panettiere.

Dressed Crab

Dressed Crab is back for one last hurrah on The Masked Singer tonight as viewers get to the bottom of which celeb is behind the crooning crustacean. Over the last few weeks, we've heard that Dressed Crab's work has "lit up the UK" and that he "just keeps coming back". He also revealed: "I love to be on The Masked Singer and would hate to leave now."

The crabby star also revealed that they are a "composer" who works "with a little faith" and says that "it's no contest when it comes to style". Their clue packages have also featured references to an American football helmet, a non-disclosure agreement, burnt clothes, a taxi receipt for £6.61, a case with the word "Idris" written on it and a sign that said "don't ring after 9pm".

Many viewers have shared their theories on social media, with some convinced that US singer Gregory Porter is Dressed Crab. "@MaskedSingerUK crab - sounds so much like Gregory Porter," one viewer wrote, while another commented: "I think the Dressed Crab is Gregory Porter!"

Other popular guesses include singer Michael Kiwanuka, actor Jamie Foxx, Grammy winner Billy Porter and Chic co-founder Nile Rodgers.
